UCI alumna Sydney Torres ’12 has been appointed the new director of the campus Womxn’s Hub. She most recently led the Cal Poly Pomona Womxn’s Resource Center, overseeing operations, student and staff development, and program development and implementation, as well as providing training across campus. Prior to that, Torres – who holds an M.S. in higher education from Florida State University – served at the Center for Student Involvement at Cal State Los Angeles. Starting her role at UCI during an unprecedented time, she will create a strategic plan to move the Womxn’s Hub forward in positive ways.
